Excerpts from debut album VISIONS
I am a music producer, vocalist, multi-instrumentalist and performer. I explore the emotional potential of electronic music - how it can make us feel things that can’t be felt otherwise, or that we didn’t know were within us; how we can work with technology to express what is fundamentally human.
I release music independently, teach and work as a composer/sound-designer for artists and filmmakers, most notably soundtracking April Forrest Lin’s 林森 feature-length film,(Tending) (to) (Ta), 2021, and Elinor Rowland’s immersive experience, Fragments of Perception, 2025 (see bottom of page for full list of credits). In 2024, I received funding from Help Musicians to independently record and release my debut album, VISIONS.
Sonic versatility is my biggest strength. I incorporate instrumentation (keys, guitar, bass), electronics and vocals into my own music and commissioned compositions. I have experience in working across a range of briefs and genres, including ambient soundscapes, experimental electronic soundtracks, choral arrangements, compositions with orchestral influences, folk and pop songs, organic sound design, as well as working with recordings and foley.
On VISIONS
“Valeria Radchenko has a rare talent for binding together many distinct musical worlds into a coherent, singular artistic voice. Their music often wades into previously unexplored, exciting sonic territories while maintaining a strong sense of grounding and connection to the listener - through their honest songwriting, meticulous production, and moving performances that feel undoubtedly human.”
